Twelfth Annual Twelfth Night Ball: A Christmas Carol

You're invited to the Twelfth Night Ball! 

Our annual Twelfth Night Ball is a wonderful way to wrap up the Christmas season, with great music, great company, and exciting English Country Dances! This year, we're going to have a Dickens "A Christmas Carol" theme, so break out your hoopskirts and top hats for a grand party at Fezziwigs!

For dancers ages thirteen through adult. No prior experience or partner required.

Early bird rate: $20 per person, or $55 for a family pass. After December 15th, $23 per person and $65 for a family pass. Some work scholarships available; contact Laura for details.

Limited to 200 dancers.

Attire: Victorian Era (mid-19th century) or Modern Formal.

You are invited to the Agent Carter Ball!  Set in the 1940's and 50's, during and just after World War II, this ball focuses on the heroism of the "greatest generation", the glamour of old Hollywood, spies, subterfuge, and general derring-do.  Come for a fun evening of English Country Dancing, with swing music played during the breaks.

Early bird rate: $16 per person, or $50 for a family pass.  After March 7th, $19 per person, and $60 for a family pass.  Some work scholarships available; contact Laura for details.

For dancers ages 13 through adult, no previous experience required.

Beginner's lesson at 5:30 p.m.

What is Twelfth Night?

 Twelfth Night is the the eve of Epiphany, which commemorates the visit of the Magi to Jesus.  It is the night leading into the twelfth and final day of the Christmas season.

From as early as the Middle Ages, Twelfth Night has been the occasion to have a huge get-together to celebrate the gift of God’s Son and send Christmas out with a bang.  People would come from far and near to be together with their families and friends for a wonderful evening of feasting, dancing, and mummer’s plays.

Attire: Medieval or Modern Formal.

For dancers ages thirteen through adult.

There will be a beginner's lesson before the ball begins, at 5:30 p.m.

Early bird rate: $20 per person, or $55 for a family pass.  After December 24th, $23 per person and $65 for a family pass.  Some work scholarships available; contact Laura for details.
